I’m Simran, a traveler and fashion enthusiast at heart. My love for exploring new places and my long-time dream of creating something in the fashion industry came together during the pandemic, when the idea of the SMUR was born. What started from my room in India is now a growing jewelry brand based in the USA.

At The Smur, every collection is inspired by the places I’ve traveled - spanning 3 continents, 30+ states, and 7+ countries. From the vibrant streets of Asia to the timeless charm of Europe and the dynamic energy of America, each piece is a reflection of culture, cities, and stories I’ve gathered along the way.

Our jewelry is designed for the modern traveler and dreamer, crafted from stainless steel, titanium steel, and 18k gold plating to ensure every piece is waterproof, anti-tarnish, durable, and affordable. The SMUR stands for Stylish, Minimalist, Unique and Royal, but the name is even more personal, it’s formed from the initials of my parents and siblings, who are at the heart of everything I do.
